Website And Branding For The Nexus Clinic Oxford
We recently completed a branding and website design project for prestigious private surgery practice The Nexus Clinic in Oxford.
This was a new business venture for the clinic and they wanted to make sure the branding reflected the business ethos and reputations of the internationally respected specialist surgeons who had come together to create it. It was to be aimed at both referred patients and health professionals making referrals. The aim was to provide a platform for the business to expand its reach in the future.
To make sure we hit the brief for this project, we carried out a branding workshop with key stakeholders to ensure we understood exactly their motivations, targets, services and objectives. We established how they saw themselves as a business and as professionals and how they envisioned this evolving in the future. From all of this, ‘The Nexus Clinic – Orthopaedic Excellence’ was born.

The Nexus Clinic is a collection of 6 respected specialist orthopaedic surgeons, focussed on providing the optimum outcome for patients.
The brand typeface is reflects the precision in its clean simplicity whilst remaining friendly and understated through the use of curves and lowercase. The ‘x’ in the centre of the logo is formed with 2 parts joining to create a single centre point, representing the optimised patient outcomes.
The colour palette uses deep blue, green and warm grey to create a feeling of a trustworthy, established brand – combined with a generous use of white space to give a professional, clean feeling.
Using this new branding, we then went on to design a website that is fully responsive, with high quality imagery and a clean, professional design. We feel that the website provides this new business with a platform that reflects the team’s reputation and objectives and supports their marketing activities in attracting new clients and referrals.
