Nadins Lime & Stone are a longstanding client who we have completed a number of design projects for over the years
Including branding, print materials, banners, exhibitions and advertisements. This summer they made the decision to update their existing website (which we built for them some years ago) and approached us to discuss how we could help them take their online presence to the next level.
As we have found with a number of other clients both old and new, whilst this year has presented its challenges it has also presented the opportunity to review, update and adapt.
Now more than ever, a strong online presence is of great importance to any business.
Nadins have been supplying lime and aggregates to the farming and industrial sector for over 30 years. They were the first company to develop a lime based product specifically for cow cubicles in the 1980s. A Staffordshire based family run business, they pride themselves on providing an excellent service and high quality products. Now it was time to ensure that their website was a true reflection of this quality!
Nadins are a family-run business and it was their son who had come on board to help steer the website project. He had a clear vision of what they wanted from their new site and put together a comprehensive brief with clear goals in terms of messaging and focus. A coherent plan combined with the talent and skill of our team meant we were able to get the ball rolling on this project quickly and efficiently.
The existing website had been built in Joomla! and so we began with a complete migration to Wordpress - a more user friendly platform for both developers and end users with a simple CMS (content management system) that will allow them to make updates to their own site content with ease should they wish to.
The overall look and feel of the website is bright and welcoming with large images and bold text in line with their branding. The focus is on clear messaging that highlights their product benefits and effectively captures the customer’s attention. The homepage has a structured hierarchy of information to ensure that a visitor to the site can get the info that they need at a glance, with clear calls to action to encourage engagement. At the client’s request, we have also created an integrated landing page to aid them in future paid marketing campaigns.
Additional development work on this site included the creation of a ‘Stockists’ page that allows potential customers to find their nearest supplier of Nadins products quickly and easily, sorted by distance using a postcode search tool.
Your website is a reflection of your business and with the launch of their new site, Nadins are showing just what a quality business they are. It is clean, clear and professional. Fully mobile responsive, easy to navigate and visually impressive, the new website provides Nadins with a strong digital presence at a time when getting your business online has never been more important.
