Long established clients, Evolution Time Critical, have positioned themselves as world leaders in premium logistics in the automotive industry since the turn of the millennium.
However the time had come to freshen up their brand identity, and our problem was that they had become so recognised in their market that we couldn't depart too far from what we had originally designed for them a decade and a half ago.
The solution: evolve the Evolution logo, keep the recognition, refresh the brand (if it's good enough for Shell, it's good enough for us). So that's what we did - refresh the colours and choose and adapt a more contemporary typeface. Of course, a brand is far more than a logo, and the next stage was to redesign Evolution's marketing collateral.
The brochure, exhibition stand and website
Having tackled the logo, our next task was to redesign Evolution's brochure, and then following that, the website and exhibition stand. The brochure needed to have gravitas and reflect Evolution's prominent position in the market. The design highlights these factors and brings to the forefront exactly what Evolution do. To avoid using a series of stock images we organised a two day photoshoot to help tell the story of Evolution's logistic capabilities. This involved designing and applying full sized livery decals to two vans and driving these and an articulated low-loader to Manchester Airport. We arranged access to the airport runway and a Russian Antonov cargo plane that was so large you could play football in it. The result takes the brochure, and the client's profile, to another level and the unique photography and impressive design has resulted in extremely positive feedback for Evolution Time Critical.
